Bill Hawkes
Managing Partner
Bill has over 25 years of industry experience, mostly with KPMG, in England, Jamaica, the Sultanate of Oman and Vanuatu, in audit, accounting, consultancy services, and the offshore industry.
He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, and is the Managing Partner of the accounting firm now known as Hawkes Law, the correspondent firm of KPMG in Vanuatu.
He has been resident in Vanuatu for 20 years and is a past Chairman of the Financial Centre Association in Vanuatu (an umbrella group of banks, accountants, lawyers, trust companies and insurance companies), and he has been a member of the Asia Offshore Association and before that APOI since shortly after its formation.
Bill has considerable understanding of the local laws and customs relating to the business environment in Vanuatu. And in particular he has been involved in the formation of a number of international offshore banks in Vanuatu.
