Steven V. Maksin, CPA. JD, LL.M. is Managing Partner of Maksin Legal Group, PLLC (a boutique tax law firm).  As a Certified Public Accountant, Mr. Maksin is also a Managing Partner of Maksin and Maksin, CPAs, PLLC, a tax accounting firm.  Mr. Maksin began his career in 1994 as an associate in the business tax planning group at PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP, where he branched out into tax and legal advisory services (mergers and acquisitions) before leaving the firm in 2002. In addition to his degree from New York University, the Stern School of Business Mr. Maksin is a graduate of Cardozo Law School (JD 2000), and obtained an LL.M. (masters of laws) from NYU Law School in 2002. He is an adjunct professor/lecturer in the business department at the City University of New York.  Among a number of articles, He had also published a law review Note in the Cardozo Law Review entitled, Assets in Wonderland: The IRS's Inconsistent Policy on Software Costs, 21 Cardozo L. Rev. 959 (1999).  Mr. Maksin is also a member of the Dean’s Advisory Counsel at the New York University Stern School of Business.
