Cayman Islands is a United Kingdom overseas territory located in the western Caribbean Sea, about 150 miles south of Cuba and 167 miles northwest of Jamaica. It has an English common law legal system and the major language is English. The capital is George Town and the estimate population is 53,886. Tourism accounts for 70-75% of the annual GDP of the Cayman Islands. Besides, there is no income tax or capital gains tax or corporation tax. The territory is a major offshore financial centre in the Caribbean encompasses banking, mutual funds, captive insurance, vessel registration, companies and partnerships, trusts, structured finance and the Cayman Islands Stock Exchange.
